Hitachi -- Terrible Customer Service!

Our 42" Plasma TV went out of service 3 months ago and we are still waiting for repair!!!!!!!!!! We purchased it 6 months ago with a 1 year warranty and 3 year extended warranty. A service repairman came about 3 months ago and told us he needed to order a part and it would take 1-3 weeks -- little did we know that 3 months later -- our $2000. TV is still down!!! And they just have you keep calling their toll free customer non-service lines!! We are irate. Picture, sound, etc., were fine for about 6 months -- and that was it.
Hitachi finally got the part in and didn't notify the parts vendor or me. We had to dig out the info and get the TV repaired. Works now after almost 4 months!! Wonder if they will extend our warranty by 4 months?? No chance.
