A great HDTV for the price
Pros
auto dimming feature a plus,great picture even when not watching HD.
Cons
Stay away from cheap cables! Spend the extra bucks on component's,screen has slight glare

I just purchased my 43in. hitachi last week and I love it!
It gives you a better picture even if you are not watching HD programming (when you use good quality cables).It looks great on its matching stand and its thinner than the 32inch Sony that I had before.There are plenty of hookups for digital cable,dvd,etc...And the speakers give you a great surround sound effect.But beware,make sure you understand how the tv works,read your owners manual and be sure to adjust the tv accordingly and your picture will be perfect.
