My Hitachi television

The Bottom Line:
I am glad the wife talked me into buying it. We initially went after a 32" to 35" television.
We have enjoyed the many positive comments made by visitors who have seen our digital Hitachi in action. I like the fact that I was able to directly hook it into my surround sound stereo system without having to run a VCR to get stereo sound from the television. The on-screen guide to how to hook it up is difficult to use but with the aid of a mirror it is possible. The stand is sturdy and has a bracket to help brace the television from being pushed over accidentally. The remote is easy to use and ergonomically sound. There are numerous options as to how you will view the picture, hear the sound and manipulate your way from watching television to watching DVDs or video tapes. The combination of numerous hook ups available on the rear of the set and the front hook up (for dubbing from a camcorder without accessing the rear of the set) does take a bit to get sorted out but once that is done, it is well worth the effort.
