Best TV I've purchased!

Pros Clearest of them all! Bright display, great color picture
Cons Stand should be included in price.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Near HDTV picture with a regular analog signal. All I can say is check it out for yourself. You shouldn't be disappointed.
I'm Mr. Researcher when it comes to buying anything over $500, so it wasn't a surprise for my wife to see me spending a few hours on the internet before buying this big screen.

I researched the prices, the picture quality and the reliability and found that this 43" TV was the best in its class.

PICTURE QUALITY
It was difficult to find info on the quality of the screen over the internet since everyone tends to have their own eye on what is right. So my wife and I went down to Sears and were immediately drawn to this set upon entering the TV Department. The picture is so awesome! They have a process that converts the analog signal into a digital signal, therefore giving you the best picture possible on an analog TV set. The colors are bright and rich and have different settings depending on what you're watching. There are several modes including "Sports" and "Movies" which deliver the best picture. Depending on the selection, the screen brings out more color or smoothes the color with the "Movies" mode. (at least that's my perception) It does include "HDTV" Monitor but I believe I will still have to buy the receiver.

SETUP
Setup was a snap. The remote control makes it so easy! You can easily scroll to setup the picture (called Magic Focus) which is really kind of a cool setup screen which makes sure that the lenses are properly focused to deliver a very sharp picture. Then you can scroll through setting up the date/time, channels, etc.

WIRES AND CONNECTORS
Have a DVD player, VCR, Stereo, etc.? There are plenty of connectors to hook everything you can imagine up to this TV. I had my equipment setup in about 15 minutes.

PRICE
I paid a little under $2200 with a TV Stand kicked in for free. It may have been a little over priced but worth every penny. The stand makes the picture level excellent so that you're right in the action as opposed to looking up or down.

OVERALL
If you're trying to decide what to buy in the way of a big screen, I'd say look no further. If you absolutely want the best picture quality in sharp and bright colors, then this is the TV you've been looking for. If you need to have HDTV standard, then maybe it's not for you. I'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND this TV!
