The Bottom Line:
This is a solid product, from a good manufacturer. The picture is very nice with digital satellite and excellent with DVD movies.
This is our first projection TV. What sold me was the Brand, lots of customer satisfaction and the fact that tube TV's only come 36inch, except for Sony's 40 inch, but they are too wide in the back. It took a couple of months to get used to looking at this picture. If I had to do it over, I would still buy this over the tube type TV's until they make a tube TV slimmer and with a larger screen size! And I am making my comparison on the top of the line HDTV tube televisions, not your standard television.
We considered the LCD TV, but it had a lot of dead pixels on the ones we looked at. We considered the plasma screens, but we heard they only last 4 to 5 years and we are the type of people to keep products forever. Our last television was 12 years old. It was a Sharp with a Mitsubishi tube.
This is the best of the Projection TV's!
I hope our research pays off and this television will give us at least 10 good years.
