This TV my husband and I bought for ourselves one year form Christmas.
We didn't need it but when we saw it,and we loved it.
We don't get out much so this was our enjoyment.
It was a great Christmas that year.
We have always been RCA people, but this one has change our mines.
I thought it was to big at first to fit in our front room, but it fit right in.
It is just like being at the movies.
It really makes everything so much interesting.
I did have my game system on it ,and any of you that play with the game Zelda,where he rides a horse, it's just like you really are to.
This TV is a 40 inch Hitachi-506l29B.
It comes on rollers which makes it easy to move cause it so big.
You get a remote and it has buttons on the front.
The front come off ,thats where your speakers are.
There is a place in the back that you can add more speaker if you want to.
It is Cable Ready.
It has a Genus remote CLV-68=63

It has a Freeze button that I really like for when a number comes on and you don't have a pen you can freeze it and it will come up on the left side of your screen.
It has has a Last Channel button, so if your watching a channel and decide to go to another channel and you forget where you was, it will take you back.
It has a recall button that if you push it will Flash your channel and time of day.
It has Avx 1& 2
It has it has a Mute button and we all know what this one does.
It programs easy.
Menu has all your settings.........
Set up= Close Caption

3........Channel Caption
4........Program Listing
5........Timer Set
Picture= Picture Program
1........Picture Setting
2........Convergence Adj
Sound= Sound Program

This sound confusing but it's not.
What I really like is that you can lock out channels that ,if you have children and you don't want them to watch certain channels, they won't get to.
The quality of the picture is great and the sound is too.
The only think that I would change is the screen, I don't know if all have this type of screen but this one has small ripples which makes it hard to clean .
Other than that we very happy with it.
So if your a home body like we are you will like it, just keep the popcorn ready.
