Wait for a sale, then buy it!

This TV goes on sale for 999 at various locations at different times, and it's worth it. The tuner is great; it took a while to auto-program, but picks up the digital channels well. The HDMI interface is much better than a JVC television I tried a few months ago, there's none of the jitter or jerkiness that I experienced before. It comes with a "universal" remote, but it doesn't have a signal for my VCR or DVD. The picture is great - I guess you can spend twice as much for 1080p instead of 720p and 1080i, but why? As far as bang-for-the-buck, you won't find a better deal at the sale price.
