Quality HDTV for the Size
Pros
Picture Quality, A/V Connections, Casters for easy moving
Cons
Screen has glare, had to see with heavy sunlight. Not for techno-phobes

This Hitachi unit has been a great first HDTV for me. This HDTV accepts all of the equipment I routinely use (C-band satellite, small dish satellite, MPEG receiver, and DVD player). I particularly like the A/V input on the front of the unit that my grandson uses to plug in his Playstation during his visits. With a large split screen (PIP), he can play his games and I can watch football at the same time. For the techno-person, the controls are easy to navigate and setup of your preferences is relatively painless. If you are leery or afraid of a lot of controls (plus another remote to deal with), this unit may not be for you. My overall satisfaction is very high. There has been no need for a service call after 7 months of ownership. Picture quality is very good, and the aspect ratios can be varied to enhance/tailor your viewing preferences. As with any big ticket purchase, check out all of the other units for quality of presentation and ease of use for your specific situation.
