After a misadventure with a 53" Hitachi, I bought this replacement in 2002 and it was well worth the investment.
With plenty of input options, the HDTV and DVD playback is breathtaking, easily rivaling the latest technology in LCD and plasma. The colors are true and the definition is crisp. I'm eager for more HDTV channels to become available.
Though the sound is quite good, I run my DVDs through the Home Theater system and should hook up my cable box the same way.
