Hitachi VTFX685A VHS VCR

I've had two VCRs from hitachi and both of them suck bad the other one broke very quickly and ate my tapes this one is just as bad I've owned it for about 5 months and the recording quality is about the only good thing about this VCR nothing special but bearable my first complaint is that it only plays it's own recorded tapes I have another VCR that I always use for recording and it's frustrating when I have to play with the tracking device just to get the picture to stay this VCR probably has the worse tracking ever first off it will jump BADLY and then the picture flashes non stop it's definetly NOT the other VCR. My other complaint is that it's misleading it claims it's a 6-head but acts like an ordinary 4-2 head so this company lies to you big time plus it claims it has digital auto tracking well if it did it would automatically get rid of the picture problems does it nope only makes it worse although it does clear very little picture problems I think all VCRs should have auto tracking your money would be better spent on a different brand VCR.
