IBM WorkPad 8602-20X Handheld

Okay, to start things off, I have used the Palm Vx and the Visor Deluxe before. There are two reasons why I bought the Workpad. The first reason is because I love the colour of the device (don't you think black goes great with all of Palm accessories - for example, the Palm V modem, the leather case, yadayadayada..... you get what I mean). Of course, the other reason why I got the IBM is because Palm Vx stocks are out in most shops (in Malaysia)

Well, there are plenty of benefits. First of all, the device can now substitute your huge diary that you may carry around with you. Just imagine whipping out your sleek IBM instead of lugging around a huge black book wherever you go. Other from that, you can use the IBM to transport your files (perhaps your Excel files - through Quicksheet, a software for the Palm which converts your Excel files to a Palm compatible format), play games during boring meetings (be sure to switch off the sound :) ) and tons of other possible options. The possibilities are endless..... and there are basically too much benefits to mention them all in this review.

I chose the IBM because I love the color and it's also cheaper then the Palm Vx. The black color of the IBM makes it look sleek and sexy. Of course this is just personal preference...

Any accessories built for the Palm Vx works with the IBM as they have the exact same hardware. Te only difference is they changed the casing. So what are you waiting for, go get your very own IBM Workpad now ......
