The Bottom Line:
The IBM WorkPad c3 is a perfect, portable and very cost effective.
Works like a charm! I have used the palm pilot (original and v5) and swore by them until getting the newer model. Then I was gifted the IBM WorkPad c3. Wow! It has all the same features as the palm but more viewing options. For instance, in the calendar mode you can see a shot of your day including appointments and to-do items. A really cool feature. For the mere $400 it costs you get all the extra memory that you have to pay more for with the palm pilot. The IBM WorkPad c3 is totally compatible with all the palm pilot peripherals. The transition over from the Palm to the WorkPad was seamless. The benefit for me is now I can have my buddies beam lots of cool extras into my WorkPad since I am not even close to using up the memory. This is especially cool for the programs that have huge databases. This is a definite 'thumbs up'.
