IBM's ThinkPad is a prestigious name in the fierce and often expensive Notebook market. PDAs are completely different animals. They are small, compact, and most of all, cheap.
IBM z50 WorkPad are not CHEAP! At least initially. It retails at $1000, while sporting;
-131 MHZ NEC Risc
-Instant-On, without system "boot" time;
-A 8.2-inch color display
-16 hours battery life
-Keyboard = 95% the size of current standard ThinkPad ? keyboards.
-TrackPoint ? pointing device.
-Expandable to 48MB of onboard memory.
-Accepts IBM 340MB microdrive
This device is IDEAL for lite business work, but it isn't a workhorse either. For those looking to get more productivity, or lite entertainment while you thumb tweedles...
