The Bottom Line:
If you want a small compact system, with a built-in amp that produces lots of clean bass, this is the system.
I wanted a little more bass in the factory system of my S-10 extended cab pick-up. I'm in my late 50's and didn't need to be heard by the neighbors, just needed a little more low end bass. I didn't want to give up all the space behind the seats so the Basslink seemed to be the solution. I also liked the fact that the 200 watt amp was built in and figured the amp would be better matched to the speaker then if I purchased separate units. I installed the system behind the driver's seat and mounted it to the rear wall of the truck's cab. I couldn't be more pleased with the results from this system. I especially like that fact that it has an adjustable built-in cross over so you can eliminate the vocals from coming through and giving a muddy sound. I also like the remote volume control which can be mounted where it is easy to reach from the driver's seat. I feel it is a lot of system for the $206 it cost to get it to my front door. I probably only use this sub at 25% of it's capacity and have all the clean bass I want. I've I'm in the mood I can crank it up and make the mirrors vibrate.
