The Bottom Line:
You don't usally get more than you pay for, but you do with these. Best home speakers I ever owned, EVER.
I bought these off ebay for $550, I heard em at Best Buy and American first. I listened to about 10 sets of 5.1 speakers ranging from $400-$1000, and honestly, I didn't hear ANY speakers that beat these.
The satellites are small, but solid. They have some mass to em, they aren't cheap plasticy speakers. They take plenty of power, and they sound good when pushed hard. My receiver is 100x5, and the satellites are so loud I dont even crank it up all the way. That says a lot cuz I like REALLY loud music.. I'm amazed that so much clean volume comes out of those little speakers.
The sub is 10" which is larger than most in comparably priced speaker sets, and it pushes more RMS than most as well. Im VERY impressed with it. It rumbles, and when it gets loud it stays tight and doesn't get burpy.
Package came with all wiring and wall mounts. I have the sub behind the TV and the satellites strategically mounted behind lamps and plants, so you don't see any speakers in my living room, except the center channel on the entertainment center.
I have a MUCH larger sound system in my car, and a 2000 rms PA in my basement, and when I crank the infinitys up, I'm not wishing I was listening elsewhere. When people hear them, they're impressed and they always look around for the source, but can't ever find em.
