Initial 1810 8 in. Portable DVD Player

This is a great device with a large screen. This player displays store bought DVD's with exceptional quality. It also plays ripped video very well. However there are a few things I would like to see improved. First the onboard speakers just don't cut it, but the sound quality through headsets or small computer amp speakers is great. This unit has the ability to play multiple video and audio formats. This is the main reason I got it. I wanted to show photos and home movies to family and friends. This player does a great job with .avi and 360dpi scanned photos. However it has some trouble with photos with really high dpi. So you might need to run them through photoshop to create a web jpgs thereby reducing the size of the image and increasing view-ability. I had to play around with some photos to get them right. In all I like this device and use it to play music, video or photos almost every day.
