This system is quite attractive but has very poor CD/DVD performance, as it will not read half my CD collection (all originals). When I tried to play a DVD after, I had to shut off the player completely, then restart it- otherwise it wouldn't read it. DVD performance was not good- freezing and jumping from scene to scene.
CD was worse- one time it would read the CD, next time it wouldn't. A very frustrating machine.
