Pros
Good sound. Lightweight.
Cons
Uncomfortable; useless noise cancellation; separate noise cancellation unit is inconvenient

I bought the JBL Reference 510 Headphones because they were on sale (half-price) at Costco. I will describe the headphones as very disappointing. They aren't comfortable. The noise cancelling circuitry is in a separate unit that clips to a belt (or other portion of clothing), and appeared to me to be offer no noise cancellation. The sound through my iPod was actually quite good, but they were so uncomfortable that I wouldn't want to use them more than 15 minutes at a time. I use Bose noise cancelling headphones at work ($300) which have great sound and noise cancelling capabilities, but become uncomfortable after 2 to 3 hours of wear. The JBLs are no match for the Bose.
