It also has great picture and newer high quality inputs such as component and s-video. Lot's of inputs.
I was in need of a good tv to play video games and dvds. I chose the JVC because it had component inputs along with s-video. Not to mention it also has front a/v inputs along with 2 in the back. In total it has three different inputs. When I got it home and plugged it in, the picture is very clear and it seems like it is almost high definition. Video games are great with the easy to use front inputs and the better picture quality you can get from the back inputs is great.
The sound coming from the speakers would be the only bad thing that I would have to say. It is good sounding until you turn it up to about 20. Then it seems like it is rattling against the side of the tv making a very ugly sound. This can be fixed by hooking up a receiver and speakers and not using the internal speakers.
Also it is kind of awkward when you try to lift it up. Since most of the weight is in the front and it weighs 85lbs. I had to push the tv around since it weighed so much.
