The Bottom Line:
The JVC unit is an entertainment device that beats most others in performance , and all others in Price.
The day came when that old Set just wouldn't produce any kind of audio visual quality.
For A Few years while I was surviving with an 11 year old Phillips Television. I had been dreaming of a new TV that would deliver everything for the best audio visual and multimedia experience.
After sorting through the Sony's, and the Panasonics, and even checking on the latest Phillips wide screens, I came across the JVC flat screen Interiart television.
What made up my mind were the features of the set to handle many jobs, as well as its ability for multi-signal, and dual voltage.
I am an American living in Europe, which means I had gotten stuck with overpriced, undervalued Television sets. Viewing NTSC signals via satellite from America were out of the question until I hooked up with this JVC unit. Owning one makes viewing universal, whether you wish to view the French SECAM, or MESACAM, or European PAL, or the Standard NTSC from America, you're in luck with JVC.
Its high quality 3d digital comb controlled FLAT picture tube gives the highest quality picture imaginable out of all the CRT types of televisions.
It comes with an easy to use dual use remote control that helps the user to refine the savings on energy by the ability to select the video mode based on ambient lighting, and even allowing this function to act automatically in all light situations. These options are obtained in the easy menu under the dual feature of the remote controller.
The remote works the television for channels, Pip, Sound conversion, bass, and muting. But when you flip the controllers lid open, (kind of like opening a calculator) there are even more options under either text or menu control.
These options include Languages, Mixer, Screen Backgrounds, Color controls, input signal types, and more.
It has the best sound quality and variances such as audio mode for cinema, music, stereo, and a Power bass feature for surround buffs.
Other features are:
3 Video inputs are which based mostly on SHVS and are located on the rear of the unit.
There are stereo sound and composite video I/Os on both front and back of the unit.
On the front of the unit under a panel are manual controls for the set.
It contains a built in twin port cinematic speaker array for delivering high quality stereo sound.
One stereo headphone jack
Power savings features built in.
