The Bottom Line:
Good overall. Clunky remote.
Normally, I don't echo the reviews of other users. However, the review from Coryintn was, for the most part, dead-on. After almost a year with this television, I have to say that I am quite pleased with it.
I purchased the floor model from Circuit City about a year ago. Fitting it into the car was a little difficult, but after some work, I managed to get it in and out again. As you can imagine, a 32" television is bulky, and also weighs a ton. It is a little scary to move around.
First, I have to agree with Coryintn's complain regarding the remote control for the television. It is absolutely the worst remote control, in terms of intuitive use, that I've ever had. Part of it is the sheer number of buttons on it. The other part is the strange layout. The remote certainly won't leave you bragging to your neighbors. It is just strange.
The amount of inputs on the back, however, are impressive. You've got the component in for high quality DVD video. There are two other video inputs plus a cable input. You could run all sorts of accessories from a single TV and not worry about running out of inputs. It is nice.
I am very pleased with the video from the television. No complaints in any of the major categories, other than the screen is not 100% flat. (I prefer a flat television, personally.) The image is great.
I am not an audiophile. The audio seems to be good. However, I don't look for anything much beyond a stereo output and volume control. So if you are big on audio, you may want to check it against your own standards.
An advanced menu is available which allows you to tweak some more technical details of the television. If you're smart, you can find the correct combo to use on the remote control to active the advanced menu.
Overall, a year later, I'm very happy with this television. I don't have any significant complaints, other than the clunky remote, to pass on. The picture is great, and the sound is good.
