JVC AV-32FA54 32 inch TV

I was shopping around for a new television and pretty much had it narrowed down to either this TV or a similar Panasonic set, the CT32SL13. I had done all of the comparison shopping both in-store and on-line and had decided those 2 were what I was looking for. Looking at the 2 in the local mega electronics store told me that the picture quality was very good on both and also very similar if not dead on with the much more expensive Sony sets. What pushed me over the top and lead me to buy the JVC was the features that it came with compared to the Panasonic. It has 2 tuner PIP, 16:9 aspect mode (wide screen) an INVAR shadow mask and 2 sets of component inputs all of which are missing from the Panasonic for the exact same price. Bottom line, I love this TV, it has an AWESOME picture especially when using my DVD player or X-Box both of which are utilizing the component inputs. The only thing that keeps me from giving this TV the best rating is that it is not HD and therefore, isn't quite the best picture quality you can buy. I would highly recommend this television to anyone looking for an upgrade to a high quality flat screen and not looking to pay for the Sony name.
