The Bottom Line:
sounds great, but doesn't last. mine only lasted six months. if you get it be sure to get a warranty.
i received this cd changer for christmas, and had it professionally installed. it worked wonderfully for about six months when it just stopped working. i had it sent in for repairs and when i got it back the sound quality was terrible. i am fed up with the crappiness of this cd player and circuit city agrees that it is ridiculous and they are actually going to give me a new sony cd changer due to the problems i have had with this one.
despite the problems i had with it:
for an fm modulated cd changer it does have excellent sound. i only have premium sound and it sounded like i had an aftermarket system in my car. the display is limited to changing the cd and tracks. you cannot display the track time or bass or treble. bass and treble has to be operated from your normal stereo face. overall the sound quality of this cd player is excellent, but during shipping it actually started to fall apart, and the factory had to reassemble it. my cd changer could have been severely defective, but its not likely.
