The Bottom Line:
I recommend the 320 for all the reasons in my Epinion. It is a great camcorder.
I was given the JVC GR-SXM320 for Christmas last year and must admit it took so long to write about it because it sat in the box until this month when I was going on a trip to South Africa. Two reasons for that would be I never really wanted one because I thought they were too complicated and unless you have a noteworthy event let's face it you don't use a camcorder.
Well I was pleasantly surprised by this camcorder as it is quite easy to use and very easy to learn the different features. Yes, I will admit I have some footage of the ground but that is the fault of the user not the camcorder.
I will not name all the features of this camcorder since it is all detailed in Epinions description. However, my favorite feature is the LCD Monitor which lets you watch what you have just recorded and if you are not happy with it then you just tape over the footage. This is great for novice users such as myself.
Also the weight of the camcorder is not to heavy which is great for when you lug your photo equipment through the airport. The tapes are inexpensive at approximately $2.99 a piece and are small which takes up less room. The camcorder also comes with a Cassette Adapter for the VCR which is a great feature! Easy to use and the quality of the tapes is fantastic.
The Battery Packs I found last quite a long time and if you have two that is more than sufficient for a day. I took both out on a day long safari and both batteries were more than enough.
The ease of use is the best feature of this camcorder along with the excellent quality of the recordings.
This camcorder comes with the following accessories: AC Power Adapter/Charger, Cassette Adapter for VCR, Battery Pack, Shoulder Strap, DC Cord, Lithium Battery.
