I've read several reviews and and didn't think it would happen to me. After reading about bulb blow-outs, I tried to strictly follow instructions in manual regarding bulb life. Did not help, bulb just blew out anyway. And all these horror stories about back orders lasting 2-3 weeks will probably come true, because the cust service people at JVC said the same thing to me! By the way, the T.V. was 3mos old.
