An OK buy at best.
What drew me to the set was that it was the brightest picture on the sales floor, as I have a lot of ambient lighting. Projecting into my home
Wow, is all I can say. This television not only brings your shows to you at a gorgeous display, but it also makes things easier.
Since it is 52" it gives a much bigger viewing area. That creates less stress from the kids on who is in the way or not. Not to mention it has that stereo...

What a piece of JUNK! -- These are problem HDTV's
After having my JVC HDTV for only eight months it was time to replace the light bulb. When I bought the TV the dealer said that the bulb would last about 2years or 6000 hours. TRY 800 hours and 8 months. Lucky for me it was still covered by JVC.

DO NOT BUY
I have had nothing but problems with my TV and JVC customer service. After owning the TV (and being satisfied with it) for 6 months, the light engine went out. Refuse to buy JVC products ever again, you should too
I have owned this TV for less than one year and have already experienced two bulb failures. For the first failure, JVC shipped new bulb within one week and I installed myself using directions in owners manual. JVC IDL Awsome TV
I checked many Lg screen TV incl the DLP side by side and this set blew them all away including some plasmas. I paid a premium price but so far its a great product well worth the money. Only con would be the cost of replacing the $400 bulb after 4yrs. Hope by then the cost will be less!!! Read full review »
Great picture ? fan noise too much to take
The JVC HD-ILA Z575 projection screen television has an awesome 52" screen. The rear A/V connection features are good; but may lack some extras such as a memory card reader for such things as SD or Flash cards.

Bad Bulb
Bought my set end of August, 05. Bulb already went out. Called JVC 1-800 number. Said I'll get a new one via Fedex in 3days. We'll see!!! Otherwise set has excellant picture. Don't like slow start up time, but not a big deal. Read full review »
Bulb Issues
Purchased this tv in July of 2005. Worked great with no issues until December, 2005. Then the bulb went out.
