Can't Beat the Quality for the Price
Pros
Picture Quality Colors are good Very bright and crisp picture
Cons
Split screen nearly useless Switching between inputs is a pain Base is very tall
Recommended it?
Yes
I chose this JVC over Sony because of some of the features that it was boasted to have. Such as split screen, more in/out puts and PC inputs. Well, the split screen doesn't work between digital (HDMI) and analog inputs. It also doesn't work with PC signal and any other input. It does not accept a PC signal through the HDMI input. The PC supports only two resolutions. I still haven't figured out why my optical audio out isn't working (may have to have it repaired). And it takes several seconds to switch between video inputs. This can be very annoying when going from input 1 to input 4 since it stops at each input to check for a signal, instead of letting you scroll through.
I am, so far, very happy with the High Def quality pictures. It is amazing! Standard DVD video is also very good.
Every product is going to have its pros/cons and I'll adjust to them. While features are disappointing, I still think that the picture quality of D-ILA is FAR better than DLP, plasma and LCD. I'm happy with my choice.
