A solid basic camera
I would recommend this camcorder to anyone who wants a basic camera for everyday needs. The tapes that it uses are VH-C which are very handy because they can be put in the full size video tape which fits into the VCR, making it very easy to watch on television and convert to tape. 600$ for 20 hrs of use

Never Again
We bought this camera in December 2002 and in November 2003 it started playing the tapes back with just gray fuzz. We've using all the proper tapes and we've tried all the head-cleaners suggested and nothing has corrected the problem. Noone will take this Camcorder back and even JVC refuses to...
