Yes
I bought this product after already owning a JVC HX-GD8, the first version of the DVD component systems. Although the subs on this one are smaller and this one doesn't pack as much watts, I love my system. It provides very clear sound and very big bass. There is also control over how the music sounds with different preset equalizers and subwoofer controls. Plus the DVD feature just ties it all together!!! GREAT quality for the price. Great picture and watching DVDs on this system makes it sound incredible and you almost feel as if you're right there in the movie.
