Love it!
Pros
Packed with features. Beautiful sound quality SIRIUS compatible
Cons
None. It "forgot" what preset it was using. This was rectifed after performing a reset.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Nice head unit. Easy to use for the most part and provides a rich sound. One of the nicest head units I've used.
I chose this one over a pioneer of similar specs - the pioneer DEH-P4600MP seemed cheaply made and not very durable.
The sound quality and features of this stereo are excellent for the price range and I have not had a single moment of regret about it.
It has a bunch of music shaping presets and if you're not satisfied with those then there are 3 user presets to play with. There is also a woofer control and pre-amp out. It's rated at 200W and that is more than enough. Make sure that you change the stock speakers if you own a 1998 GM cavalier - the stock 10 ohm speakers severely impede on this head unit's performance.
One thing I have noticed about this is (and I haven't read the manual fully so it's probably staring me in the face) that when you turn the ignition off it seems to "forget" what music shaping you were actually using. It is a minor inconvenience though and other than this I love it.
The display is nice and bright and it has space for a clock(if turned on) and the track name (if using an MP3 CD or CD with CD text) or the track time. It can also be set to 4 different tilt settings , although It didn't seem very sturdy to have it tilted and felt like it would have been easy to break whatever mechanisms are used for this purpose.
Complete installation instructions were supplied and were very comprehensive. Just as they should be. It would have been nice to have had the accessories needed to install the DIN shaped stereo into the stock location (the 1998 Cavalier has a strange size stereo), rather than having to buy a separate kit
I'm unsure as to why car stereos have a remote though. Seems pointless to me; but it has one and it's pretty good for the size. You can use most (if not all) of the stereo's features with the remote.
It is also SIRIUS compatible so I can get a SIRIUS receiver if I want one.
I'd certainly recommend this to any friend if they wanted a nice looking head unit with nice specs for a reasonable price.

I Previously posted that it "forgot" what preset it was using. This was rectified after resetting the unit. Now all the features work flawlessly.
