Simply Amazing.
Pros
Everything. Simply Amazing. I cannot say enough in favor of this deck.
Cons
Remote feels odd at first, like it's upside-down. Cannot FF through songs(w/remote), only skip track.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Simply Amazing. This amp stands out in the crowd. Would recommend to ANYONE serious about car audio. This deck alone, will increase sound quality 2 fold.
This, bar none, is the single best deck I've ever used.
A little bit of information about it. It has 3 RCA out, one dedicated for a sub-out, one front channel, and one rear channel. Each has it's own set of options to play with, too. This gives a LOT of options when tuning the output.
The controls are a bit awkward at first, and some of the labels above the buttons are very small, but once you're used to it, and know what you're doing, that really does not matter much at all. The motorized faceplate is very slick, and has 3 angles as well as flat, that it can be set to.
The included wiring, has an independent fuse on it. This is a nice touch to protect such an expensive piece of equipment. It's nice that the manufacturer went the extra mile, and the detail to little things really does put this deck in front.
The graphics and animations are amazing, and while a little confusing at first, the software included to make your own custom graphics and/or animations is awesome. Can take any picture, and have it scroll top to bottom, etc, or zoom in, in a smooth animation. Can make slide shows, or pretty much anything you'd want, frame by frame.
The quality of the sound output of it's 4 channels is sparkling. I've never heard output so nice without using a separate amplifier, and the quality is still nicer than some systems even with a 4channel amp running the highs/mids.
Options like BBE and CCE, for enhanced bass, and digital output make insane differences with the right equipment, or even with something basic, the BBE will really add a nice punch to your bass, without sacrificing quality.
My CDs / MP3 discs never skip, even badly damaged CDs seem to play back on a bumpy road without a single stutter or missed beat in the music.
I managed to get my hands on this deck, on Super Bowl Sunday ('05), for only a little over $200.. I'm still not sure why Best Buy had it priced like that, but I've never seen it before, or since then, priced even close to that. (Most of the Best Buys near me were out of stock, too..Had to drive over 50 miles to get to a store that had one in stock..But to save $300? I made that trip in a hurry!)
