JVC KD-LH3100 Car CD / MP3 Player

I just got my Chevy S-10 pick-up(12/03) and couldn't wait to start working on it.One of the first things I wanted to do was install a head unit. I really wanted an LCD with TV tuner, but that wasn't gonna be too kind on my wallet. So I started debating between a Pioneer or an Alpine head unit. I had a Pioneer in my old car and I loved it. I really wanted a stereo with some cool kind of display. I started pricing them but didn't want to spend more than $300. I saw this JVC and paid little attention to it. Then I started shopping around online and found a great deal on it. I did a little more research on it and decided I would go with this unit. I can honestly say that I am very happy with the unit. It makes my factory speakers sound so much cleaner than it did with the stock stereo. I will be replacing the speakers pretty soon though so it should sound even better. Installation was easy, it was my first stereo installation and everything works...so far. Some of the menu features are kinda weird to use, but you'll get used to it. The display is sooo nice to look at, it displays the song name, artists name and everything. The image convertor software that's included is pretty easy to use although I still haven't figured out how to use the moving pictures I downloaded on JVC.com. I also wish the instruction manual explained everything a bit better. Overall it's a great unit with very very pretty displays. Highly Recommended.
