JVC KD-SH9700 Car CD / MP3 Player

I bought this to replace a the unit stolen from my car. I almost bought Pioneer, but this head unit is really really nice. It looks very classy, and sounds great. I am using the built-in amp with some jbl gto series speakers and I can't turn it up all the way cuz it's too loud, so for anyone besides competition freaks, the built in power probably will be plenty. The 6 rca outs are nice, giving you front, rear, and sub line-out connections with a seperate sub volume level setting in the menu system. The menus are very easy to navigate and the display is crystal clear. I only wish you could change the colors on the display...not that the ones it has are bad...they are actually good, but I like to mess around a bit! I bought my unit at www.savinglots.com for 302 including shipping, and I am completely happy with this unit. Another note, it will play either mp3's or wma files, and will play them even if they are recorded in variable bit rate mode. Highly recommended!
