I believe this is one of the best bang for the buck. I bought mine for 250 dollars at sears on sale. It is wonderfully lit up at night and you can also dim it as well. It is easily viewed with the big display since the cd is inserted behind it. I enjoy using the remote control so i dont have to take my eyes off the road. You have several different eq levels allready set with different sounds and you can still adjust the bass and treble and save them and save it. You can even add a tape player, mp3 player or even hook dvd to it and listen to it on surround sound. The most excellent feature on this cd player is the BBE processing. The bbe proccessing sends the right signals to the right part of the speaker instead of one jumbled up signal. It sends the high signals to the tweeter and the bass to the woofer and it totally makes a big difference. The reliability is also excellent ive had mine since september and it has been installed in two cars. The first car it was installed in was a 1992 honda accord. the cd player sustaind a 35 mph crash and it was thrown out of the dash and the car was completly totaled. the cd player still works perfect. Jvc even had excellent promptness and service when i had ordered a new installation sleve because i lost the original one. At the local audio store it would have cost 15 bucks but for JVC it was 2.83 plus 5 for shipping.
