I was looking to buy a car mp3 player for a long time. First of all I was a Blaupunkt fan so far. Couple of friends told me JVC does make very good car audio but I had to have one to believe this …
First of all my price range was under 200 with shipping included and I was looking for a brand name, remote control, id3 tags, CDTEXT for cd audio, preamp out and rotary volume control. When I first heard about this cd player, all the features and also the price I knew I'll go for it. Before seeing this one I was decided to get a Jensen unit (similar price but far less features and quality)
If you don't want to spend a lot on you audio system this mp3 player might be the answer. If you have some nice speakers and you add a sub with an amplifier you won't believe your ears!!!
What I like about cd player: the CD-TEXT capability which I can say is something rare among even the expensive players, the possibility to label the radio stations (sometimes I miss the RDS from Europe …), the fact that has the connection with the car's lighting so the lights are lowered when turning on the car's lights.
