I just installed this radio on my Mazda Protege 99. The sound output is great, the build in speakers do well with this receiver. The Mp3 playback is flawless and it loaded the cd in no time. I though I will have to wait for an mp3 to load but the time is the same as playing a regular CD. All I have to say about this unit is buy it if you want an affordable MP3 player. I will recommend it to anyone. You can't go wrong with JVC. Look in the internet for cheap prices on this unit and take it to an installer to setup. Its much easier and less hassle to do it yourself.
