JVC KD-SX990 Rocks.
I just installed this radio on my Mazda Protege 99. The sound output is great, the build in speakers do well with this receiver. The Mp3 playback is flawless and it loaded the cd in no time. I reads lots of reviews before installing the JVC KD-SX990 mp3 player. This player is Great! I burned some 15 albums into 1 CD. Put the CD in - The player took just seconds to read all the folders and up came the number of songs and was ready to play!

great stereo, never skips, lots of nifty features
When my old stereo blew out (crappy aiwa), i listed my requirements for a new deck.
plays mp3 on cd format.
displays song title (aka id3 tag) during mp3 playback
easy to navigate a disk with 200 songs on it.
has an aux jack
skip very little or not at all.
