The Bottom Line:
Buy it....You definitely won't be disappointed.
Just bought this thing and this is my first ever review, thats how much I like it for the price. I wanted to swap out my factory CD changer in my Toyota 4Runner and decided to focus on a MP3 Player so that I would be able to keep the same amount of tunes on one CD that before required a changer.
I am very very happy with my decision and with my choice of the JVC KD-SX990. It has an awesome way to arrange and organize your MP3's and display them. In addition, with the front aux input I can plug in the audio from my handheld DVD player from the headphone jack into the front aux and listen to the sound on my speakers. Great for road trips and you don't have to get all kinds of crap installed.
Another plus was the outstanding reception this thing has. I'm on the road a lot and was very happily surprised to find out that my favorite local talk show, "The Love Doctors" in West Palm Beach, came in loud and clear all the way down in Calle Ocho in Miami. With my factory receiver, I would lose signal in Ft. Lauderdale.
All in all, get this receiver if you don't want anything too fancy, the nice gunmetal finish I think will look good in any color interior. For the price you can't beat it. I picked up mine for $129 plus tax off of a local Ebay Dealer. I did a pick up to save the $20 in shipping.
