I agree, it has a respected line of audio equipment but I have purchased the 2008 Model and when it comes to playing cd's it SUCKS. dvds no problem, reception for the radio definitely poor. picture quality great, sound is kind of wonky. playing music off an SD card quality is poor as apposed to a c d. options well there aren't really any, even for a sub, no control to turn off. Over all I rate it a 6.5
