Best Stereo I Owned YET

The Bottom Line:
If you like CD's - yet sill want to play those old tapes - this is the perfect stereo.
I dunno what this other guy is talking about with his review but I owned this CD player for almost 5 years and it lasted longer than my CAR! I never noticed ANY skipping and thought it was great. I enjoyed the fact that it played CD's as well tapes - as I still have so many tapes due to growing up in the 80's (what should I do with my vast collection of cassettes just throw them out? All that music meant so much to me!!!)
As for his criticism with the remote control - I guess he never had a girl in the backseat of his car and happened to play her favorite tune on the CD player. What do you want to do when that song gets her all in the mood and she wants to hear it again??? Jump up to the front seat and press the Repeat Button? By the time you got to the back seat again - she'd be buttoned up and she'd be like - "Ummm I'm not in the mood anymore." So who's with me... All hail the concept of the car-stereo remote control!
I'll admit this thing cost a buck or 2 but - I totally enjoyed it - and I got PLENTY of comments on how cool it looked. Isn't that the whole point of a car stereo?
