Don't even bother! Better off with a walkman.
Why did I buy this deck? Because I am cheap. I have paid for it in the long run...
The deck skips constantly, even on brand new cds it will just stop playing. CD-Rs? don't even try it unless you want to burn at an painstaking 1x speed. The radio reception is terrible. Only the tape deck is worth listening to.
Immediately after purchasing this deck I sent it into JVC for repair. This involved taking out my deck, packaging it and going for 2 weeks without a stereo. I got the deck back, installed it and......NO DIFFERENCE! Still a piece of junk! I thought of sending it again but it would definitely be a waste of time. The deck seems to be made OK and everything is fairly easy to figure out, but the internals are awful.
