Everything you could possibly want out of a system

I picked this up after my year old sharp MD player decided to completely break down on me, and i was looking for something that could go loud, had an MD player and functioned well.
I picked the JVC over a Sony because of the quality that was put into the actual system. The glass layers over the controls look very slick indeed, and a number of my friends have commented on how nice it looks. The silver color system looks great, and the blue lighting on the Display and Multi-jog looks great. The Sony looked cheap compared to this, and the salesman recommended the JVC not because of the price but because the performance of the machine- He said the cd player would work flawlessly for a long time, one of my concerns with a 3-cd changer unit.
Now i have used this machine for quite a while now and it performs great. The neat built in multi jog lets you skip multiple tracks on a CD or MD, and the CD changing mechanisms are quick and smooth. You can put in other cd's whilst still listening to the CD player. The MD player is perfect and there are no complaints with it. The diplay is clear, and you can dim it for night when you are in bed listening to music. The buttons are clearly labelled and it has a very easy user-interface. Recording MD's is nto a hassle, just press record and bada-bing bada-boom you're done.
There are six pre set sound settings which varies the bass and treble on songs - this includes : Dance Club (personal favourite), Hall, Stadium, Rock, Pop, Classic and Manual (set it to your likings.) The Active Bass is tremendous and you can feel the bass pumping into you when you have it on loud.
Now this sucker can go loud. REAL LOUD. The speakers are a work of art - take the covers off and just admire the tweeter, Bass and dual cannon duct system. Play something with a heavy bass and watch those suckers pound. Now i can play something like the chemical brothers at half the max. volume (25) and i get complaints from neighbours. The clarity of the sound at high volumes is amazing - there is no distortion. You can hook this up to your playstation/n64/etc and TV and the quality of your games / tv programmes is really enhanced.
The remote has all the functions of the main machine and is working fine even though i've dropped it a couple of times.
This machine really rocks. I reccomend it to people who don't want to spend alot on a machine yet who want incredibly good performance. If you're looking for a new stereo, buy this!
