Was good for a while

Good sound. Decent Bass. Good radio reception. Nice looking.

That CD thing, Heavy, pricey at purchase.

Performance wise, I was happy with this boom box. It got me through college without a hitch. In fact, it functioned pretty well for about 6 years. Now, however, the CD player has become its achilles heel. It rarely is able to read any type of CD except on some fluke. It especially hates original CD's. Sometimes it likes a burn from my friend's computer, but that's getting rarer over time. That said, I might recommend another system, but who knows, maybe 6 good years is good for any boom box.
