Useless Boom Box with a Tattoo

Tape player has good sound quality.
Cons
Wont play CDr, or CDrw. REMOTE CONTROL DOES NOT CONTROL VOLUME, doesn't the have buttons.

I thought JVC was a good brand, so I went with this cuz I needed a Boom Box with a remote that could play my homemade cd's. The description DOES say it plays cd-r's and cd-rw's, however when you actually get this box in your hands and read the instructions, it says the cd's must be "finalized".
Anyway, it will not play ANY of my home burned cd's, and all other players in my house do. To make matters worse, THE REMOTE CONTROL DOES NOT CONTROL THE VOLUME, doesn't even have the buttons to do so, making this whole purchase a waste of my time and a good $50. Now I have to buy another boom box AGAIN.
I want everyone to be aware of these things before considering this purchase.
