JVC RX-1028V 5.1 Channels Receiver

It comes with an "RF receptor," the key to the RX-1028V's very cool dual-room/dual-source feature. Here's how it works: The remote emits the usual IR (infrared) signals for control in the main room where your A/V system is, but it also emits an RF (radio frequency) signal that can pass through walls and floors. Just take the remote with you and control the receiver from anywhere in your home! To power a pair of speakers in a second room you can (1) use the receiver's surround channel amp through the "B" speaker outputs, which lets you simultaneously play different stereo sources (for example, CD and radio) in two separate rooms; or, (2) use an external amp, which lets you choose a 5.1-channel surround sound source in your main room.
Of course, the RX-1028V also has the processing, the power, the inputs and outputs, and the quality for absolutely stunning digital home theater. Built-in Dolby Digital, DTS, and Dolby Pro Logic decoding lets you experience the multichannel audio on countless current and future videodiscs, videotapes, TV, HDTV, and satellite broadcasts.
