I think that the JVC company makes an excellent product ,I will continue to buy and use JVC products have given me great service and were very affordable
i have own this great reciever for 3years now and i cannot fine one on the market that could ever replace it for the money that i spent buying it, Got it at a BJ'S wherehouse for next to nothing and it still work and performs great ,, i would highly recomend a JVC to any one looking to upgrade or replace or install home theater surround sound this will play back dolby dts and when jaming to pinkfloyd or pearljam or soundgarden to any classical music! you can play back all five(5) speakers at the same time ,, wake the dead or even your neighbor across the yard ,, this reciever can get the police call out to the loud disturbance and to really make it worth it try to pick up at least two powered subs to plug into the back its got a sub out put and only one optical out but you might can pay a little more and get yourself a newer JVC up the ladder from this one that has more in/out puts but JVC made home theater affordable with this unit RX6020 is the best boom/bang for your buck
