Yes
The Bottom Line:
I have done my research for 2 months on the perfect receiver. Many nights surfing the net and looking at receivers.Save yourself the time and buy one.
After buying my first home theater in a box (philips mx1060d), I wasn't happy with the receiver at all. It didn't have any digital inputs,it didn't sound like a "theater" and just plain out sucked.
I then sold the old one and did lots of research on the net. I ended up settling for the jvc 6030vbk.

This receiver has everything and anything you would want in a high priced receiver.
2 component in/1 out
2 s-video in/2 out
2 av in/2 out
1 coaxial in/1 optical in
5 discrete analog channel input (this produces better sound than digital but only if your dvd player has 5 analog outputs)
It has also about 5-6 analog inputs. Probably more as I don't remember.
After plugging in and correctly setting it up. I used my old HTB speakers to test it out. I was so amazed!!. I couldn't believe the audio quality that comes out this thing. Crisp and clear. Not distorted and dull like the old receiver.
There's so much more to say since its jam-packed with features. I'll let you do the reading at www.crutchfield.com . Type in the model number and you'll see full pics and specs.
I had this for 3 months and have nothing but good things to say about it.
I paid $230cdn w/tax at futureshop (same price at best buy, 2001audiovideo). Its still the same price as of right now. Go out and buy one!!. You won't be disappointed.
