Pretty NICE for the PRICE!

This receiver replaced our old Harmon Kardon surround sound system. The Dolby 5.1 effects are enhanced when you "tune" the system using the set-up for speaker size and distance from the optimum listening area.
We use a mixture of impedances on our speakers (some are 4 ohm, some are 8 ohm) and the JVC allows you to customize the gain for each. This is the first time we've had a truly balanced system.
