The Bottom Line:
Buy it. You can't beat the features for the price.
I replaced my old JVC receiver with this receiver. I could not be more pleased. The setup, while lengthy, was reasonably clear. There are inputs for 2 VCRS, DVD, CD, tape player, record player, and more. Optical and coaxial inputs, S video--this receiver has it all as far as I am concerned.
I have been using for a month and have no complaints, although the volume, which ranges from 0 to 90, cannot be heard until about 35. One neat feature is that when in surround mode, the display will automatically change to inform you which Dolby mode (Digital, DTS, Pro logic)you are listening. While I am no audiophile, I did lots of research and believe this receiver offers very good value.
