The Bottom Line:  Excellent Receiver for the Price
Jvc is a true American company. They care about who buys their products, also they care about how their products works for the person who buys their products. A product that will prove this to you is the JVC RX-8010VBK receiver. The functions in this product will amaze you.

First off the reason I purchased this receiver is the power. It has 120 watts in stereo mode. Also has 100watts times 5 when watching TV or music using all your surround sound speakers. There is a switch that will allow you to choose if you want 8 ohms or 4 ohms. Most of the home audio speakers are 8 ohms. But if you love music than you can upgrade to a car speaker, for some serious bass, with 4 ohms.

There are some many things you can hook up to this receiver that it will make your dreams of a home theatre system come true. It has 4 audio inputs, 5 video, and a 5.1 input, 3 optical and 1 coaxial inputs, 1 optical outputs, a phono input, 5 s-video inputs, 2 component inputs, and 2 speaker inputs. For the first time this receiver has a USB connection. A USB port allows you to hook the receiver up to your computer to play music through your home theatre system.

There are also three different decoding abillites in this receiver. Dolby Digital, DTS and Pro Logic. Dolby digital 5.1 channels (2 for front speakers, 2 for rear, and one center than one for a sub). Dolby Digital is used for playing DVDs. DTS has the 5.1 channels and is used for DVDs and some music. Prologic only has four channels for your rear and front speakers with a center, and used for VHS tapes.

If you are looking to begin a home theatre system or jus to play music, than this receiver will interest you. It is so easy to use that anyone who can do 1+1 will love it.
